Tamaryokucha Ureshino


Tea of the Year 1995.
This tea is produced in the Kyusu Island area. It is a first grade green tea of Tamaryoku type. Excellent for formal occasions.
Tiny, evenly rolled dark green leaves. A light green infusion, with a delicate refreshing flavour, reminiscent of baked rye bread.

Put 7-10g of tea in a 0.4l pot and pour on water that has been taken off the boil two minutes before (75-80°C, 155-175F). The tea is ready after 1 minute. With this tea we serve a pot of hot water over a burner for further infusions.
