On the southern slopes of the majestic Himalayas, not far from the renowned Indian Darjeeling, the hard working Nepalese planters, even without British colonial experience, managed to bring to the light of the tea world full black tea of the alpine type. In 2017, we visited the Shangrila Tea Garden, certified as Bio-Organic, and decided to buy tea right there. Brown-green uniformly coiled leaves with a high content of silver tips, full of slightly tight aroma and taste.
