Hojicha Kyoto


A gourmet tea with a unique aroma. It is to be recommended especially as a good drink after a large meal.
Roasted leafstalks, sometimes sorted by line and grade but with unsorted light brown leaves. In translation the name means lightly roasted tea. The infusion is brownish, with the fragrance of freshly baked bread and a flavor which is like roasted nuts.

Put 6-8g of tea in the pot and pour on boiling water. After 2 minutes the tea is ready. We serve this tea with a pot of hot water over a burner for a second infusion.
