Our great friends Grup Anwar are returning to serenade you with classical Arabic music on violin and oud (Arabic Lute)! Each performance has just gotten better.

Led by master Syrian violinist, oudist and composer Anwar Diab Agha, Grup Anwar (meaning ‘luminous’ in Arabic) was formed in the fall of 2011 to bring the classical and classic popular music of the Arab world to a wider audience in the North Country of New England and New York.

Quite an accomplished musician in his own right, Jeffrey Davis manages the group which is occasionally joined by other fantastic performers from the Burlington area.
